About YOFT Academy
Background
Welcome to YOFT Academy, a youth development organisation established in 2010. Based in Concession, Mazowe District in Mashonaland Central - Zimbabwe, we focus on community engagement and youth development through sports and education .
Our team of experts, including coaches, sports agents and legal practitioners, work together to provide opportunities for young people in the surrounding schools and the community. Our flagship program is the YOFT Junior Soccer Academy, which serves as a subsidiary of our organisation.
At YOFT Academy, we are committed to empowering young people to reach their full potential and become active members of their communities.
Aim
By engaging young people in meaningful activities, we strive to prevent them from engaging in harmful behaviors such as drug abuse, sexual misconduct, early child marriages, and other criminal activities hence the following aims.

Expanding the talent base to multiple sporting activities to ensure every youth in any sporting discipline is included.

The Girl Child | YOFT Queens
We recognize that girls and women often face unique challenges and barriers to participation, and we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages them to take an active role in sports.
Breaking Barriers
We actively work to break down barriers that prevent girls from participating in sport, such as access to resources, societal expectations, and safety concerns.
Building Confidence
We believe that sport empowers girls and boosts their self-esteem, helping them develop leadership skills and a sense of resilience.
Creating Role Models
We celebrate and showcase successful female athletes to inspire young girls and encourage them to pursue their sporting dreams.
